Jormungandr is a Norse Divinity of water, who is very knowledgeable on draconic magick. Jormungandr doesn’t typically reside within the Norse current, and Jormungandr uses draconic magicks separately from Norse magick. Jormungandr is a divinity who greatly enjoys teaching and using draconic magick, but he is also good for Norse sorcery. He is attributed to water, and can manipulate the ecosystem. Jormungandr typically focuses on macrocosmic events as opposed to more isolated ones. The auspices of Jormungandr are good for opening/refining the psychic senses, glamours, illusions, and cloaking. Jormungandr can be called for healing, but he will only heal those he wants to. Jormungandr doesn’t want to work with newer practitioners, one must peak his interest if they are a beginner, but, Jormungandr does feel more connected with dragons. Jormungandr is more connected to larger bodies of water. He can help teach how to gain ability over bodies of water, starting small and working up from there (and Hydrokinesis). While Jormungandr can be serious, he knows how to let loose. Jormungandr prefers workings outdoors, and in the daytime, but can and will work indoors and at night (His magick is stronger during the day). Jormungandr does have an understanding of the runes, but he doesn’t find them enjoyable.
Jormungandr wants the practitioner to ask him questions and learn about him from him.
Summoning Chant – Vas Um Barr
A great offering unto Jormungandr is any stone from any body of water, taken with intent for him (Don’t give him a rock that you just happen to have, or have found). The rock should preferably be taken out of the water, by the hands of the practitioner, with the intent of offering the stone unto Jormungandr. He does have a preference for ocean water rocks, but he will accept stones from smaller bodies of water, The bigger the body of water, the better the offering will be.
He will accept smaller “everyday” offerings like Dragon’s Blood incense until the practitioner can get ahold of a water rock for Jormungandr. He also likes the blood of a dragon.
