Maui, is a demigod, one of the first to master shape-shifting, can teach you how to become a shapeshifter as well as how to be able to shapeshift into multiple animals or forms (though normally comes at a price for each new form you take so be extremely cautious), is an entity who is extremely advocating for aiding humans but is considered a trickster because he will not always be straight forward with his motives, can aid in scrying, astrology, navigation, basic magick principles, as well as give advice on how to outsmart others and improve one’s innovative skills. He has insight into the beginning of man and the latent abilities lost to time, can teach survival skills, time dilation (without using magick), how to read and understand nature, and how to enchant objects to be able to grant supernatural abilities, he can teach you how to steal abilities from others. Can teach you how to turn an everyday object into a weapon,  he can aid in kinetic abilities (mostly pyrokinesis, aerokinesis, geokinesis, and hydrokinesis) as well as bringing abilities/ entities to the physical, he can impart strength and cunning into those he comes to.

When he is summoned or becomes apparent, the practitioner will normally see one of his many shifted forms before he appears in the form of a man. In my personal experience when I call him there will be a hawk that appears in the sky which will dive down and the form of a muscular man with an ivory fishhook around his neck will appear.
