All-purpose invocation of Nyx: “Ve shon tallie” 

Nyx is the goddess of night, one of the firstborn into this reality. She presides over darkness and the darker nature of things that reside within this reality. She rules over all that influence, yet has no substance. She can impart the practitioner with influence over the shadows, the ability to manipulate, weaponize, and scry using the darkness. Working with her is best done at night(obviously). She can introduce the practitioner to true chaos and present true fears. She can teach how to mold the darkness into one's desires, whether it is a weapon, an extension of oneself, or a being. She does not desire to be in the spotlight, but doesn't like to be forgotten. If the practitioner is to have an altar, she is fine with a small piece of the altar dedicated to her, as long as she is not overlooked. She can alter the process of turning day into night, yet does so sparingly as to maintain peace. If you are on Nyx's good side, then her children will also remain on your side. She can aid with the darker magicks such as vampirism and necromancy, can teach the secrets of chaos magick, help consecrate a scrying mirror, she can initiate you through the void, the Greek underworld, show how to view others from the shadows(in a physical and astral sense), how to hide in the darkness, how to confront your own shadows, and how to progress forward from your darkest moments. She also has dominion over the shadow people who reside within her domain, as well as the hordes of monsters within the abyss. She can open gateways to the in-between. She can remove the darkness within yourself or others as well as infect people with darkness. In this case, darkness can range from extreme depression to psychopathic tendencies.
