Spiritual Lenses

Spiritual lenses are simply an enchanted piece of colored glass that allows the user to be able to glance into the astral plane to be able to see entities, view auras, see energy and be able to detect magical residue. This does not replace astral sight but it will aid in developing it should the practitioner decide to strengthen this skill. The following seal calls on Hekate and Samael to enchant a piece of colored glass to turn it into a spiritual lens. All that needs to be done is under the light of the moon (full is best but not necessary), place the glass or colored sunglasses on the sigil and say, "I call to Hekate, mother of the moon, I call to Samael the serpent, father of the first witch, aid me in this endeavor to turn this glass/sunglasses into a lens to view the astral, to strengthen the sight behind the veil."
